Voodoo Nation is going to Aston Ice Works

The Delaware Valley Voodoo is proud to announce our second location is now at Aston Ice Works, in Aston, Pa.

We will be holding open evaluations on April 30 for Squirt through Midgets, Levels B, A, and AA.

Times are as follows: (All players/goalies must pay $25 evaluation fee at time of tryout.)

Squirts and Peewees: 6:15 to 7:15 p.m.

Bantams and Midget Minors: 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.

All ages/levels will be on Rink 4.

If you previously registered to tryout at The Pond, Mike or PJ will reach out to you – if they haven’t already – about moving to Aston.

Thanks go out to all the players – and parents – who made it out to our evaluations on March 8 and March 13 at the Igloo.

If you missed the tryouts at the Igloo, but still want to be a part of the Voodoo Nation at the Igloo, contact Mike Glick and PJ Diana at chief@delawarevalleyvoodoo.com to let them know you’re interested in playing for the Voodoo out of the Igloo rink.

Or, you can register to be a part of the Delaware Valley Voodoo out of Aston, by clicking here:

We’ve had many questions about which tournaments we intend to do. We have a list of prospective tournaments, but need to organize the teams first before committing to specific tournaments.

We will post a list of proposed tournaments on the site soon.

And, now that you’re part of the Voodoo Nation, let’s start spreading the word to your hockey friends so they can get in on the action.

Are you ready for Voodoo tryouts?

Hello Voodoo Nation,

Our mission statement and purpose is available on the right hand side of this page.

As we get closer to tryouts, we wanted to ensure that everyone understands what is included and involved in the Voodoo at every level – B,A,AA – and every age group, Squirt- Midget Major.

Let’s get the Midget Major AA, A teams taken care of first. We plan on selecting teams for major ages. Delaware Valley Voodoo Midget Majors are tournament teams only. We will select four (4) local tournaments to play in. Players will receive a jersey only at this level. There are no practices, camps or scrimmages for Midget Majors. The cost is $120 per player, per tournament.

The Squirt B, Pee-Wee B and Bantam B levels will get 2 practices a month, a 3-night camp, a jersey, socks, a shell, T-shirt and shorts along with 3 tournaments all included in their package. The cost is $700 per player. We only plan to do three tournaments at the B level because of the availability of local tournaments for that level.

The Squirt A/AA, Pee-Wee A/AA and Bantam A/AA will get 2 practices a month, a 3-night camp, a jersey, socks, a shell, T-shirt and shorts along with 4 tournaments all included in their package. The cost is $1,100 per player.
There is also a $25 tryout fee due on your tryout day.

Payment options: We are able to accept cash, checks or credit cards.
We are breaking down the fees into three payments due in April, May and June of 2014. We understand that this sport is very expensive and the costs for ice and equipment is always rising, so we’ve tried to keep the costs to a minimum. The Voodoo wants to make sure that every player has the opportunity to continue off-season play at the level their familiar with so that they stay hockey-ready all season long.

If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out to us. Remember to Like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter.

We look forward to seeing you at tryouts and getting to work with the Voodoo Nation.
